THAT A PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery on Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 7:15 P.M. at Montgomery Village Hall located at 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York regarding the proposed Application for the FY-2023 Orange County Community Development Block Grant Program.
The Village invites public comments and suggestions regarding projects to be considered for funding under the Orange County Community Development Block Grant Program. Under this Program a variety of physical improvements as listed below are eligible for funding: acquisition and disposition or real property; public works, public facilities or site improvements; code enforcement (housing and health codes); clearance, demolition and rehabilitation for public use or economic development; housing rehabilitation loan and grants; special projects for elderly and handicapped; provision of public services (shelter, clinics, senior nutrition, etc.); payment of non-federal shares of other grant programs; relocation payments and assistance. The Town/Village will be considering projects to be submitted to the Orange County Community Development Block Grant Program. The deadline for submittal is June 24, 2022.
The Village Board will at the above date, time and place hear all persons interested in the subject matter hereof. Persons may appear in person or by agent. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing of the Planning Board of the Village of Montgomery will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as can be heard at the Village Hall Board Room, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York 12549 to consider the application of 88 AB Group, LLC, who are seeking approval for a lot line change between two properties along with site plan approval for the construction of a 8’x14’ cooler, outdoor seating area, and reconfiguration of the existing parking lot. The properties subject to the lot line change are located at 77 Clinton Street (designated on the Tax Map as Section 202, Block 3, Lot 7.2 and consisting of approximately 7,231 sq. ft. or 0.166 acres) and at 88 Charles Street (designated on the Tax Map as Section 202, Block 3, Lot 10.2 and consisting of approximately 16,678 sq. ft. or 0.377 acres). NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery on Thursday May 12, 2022 at 7:20 P.M. at Montgomery Village Hall located at 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York regarding the consideration and approval of a cable television franchise agreement by and between the Village of Montgomery and Spectrum Northeast, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Charter Communications.
Any resident of the Village of Montgomery is entitled to be heard concerning the abovementioned franchise agreement at such public hearing. Written and oral statements will be taken at that time. Current Proposed
Water in District < 50,000 gallons: $ 3.85/1000 gal. $ 4.45/1000 gal.
Water in District > 50,000 gallons: $ 4.45/1000 gal. $ 5.15/1000 gal.
Water out of District: $ 9.62/1000 gal. $11.15/1000 gal.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the proposed water system tapping/connection fees within the boundaries of the Village’s water district are as follows:
- Tapping charges for connections 1 inch or smaller: $1,500.00 per tap
- This fee will apply to all new service connections made by a plumber
- Tapping charges for connections over 1 inch: $2,500.00 per connection
- This fee will apply to all new service connections made by a plumber
- Inspection fee for All Size Taps: $150.00 per tap
- This fee is in addition to the above fees and covers the inspection by Village personnel of a new water service installation; and
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the proposed sewer connection fees within the boundaries of the Village’s sewer district are as follows:
Charges for all connections: $1,500.00 per connection
Inspection fee for sewer connections: $150.00 per connection
